Let It Go

  BACK

 Past concerns and future fears
Anxiety played out through tears
In wonder, apprehension grows
Never let the worry go

Wasted time spent concerned
Where no control can be observed
Not doing what can be done
Waiting for the worst to come

Taking hold, growing root
Anything but keeping mute
Voiced in ways to feed the fire
Over time, these things more dire

Destroyed from inside out
Victim of reviled doubt
Causing new and raising old
Clouded mind, hope now sold

Not in fear, won’t be undone
And in this act, already won
Let it go, let me be
Worry is the enemy
