Echoes and reflections
Fashioned in my core
Along with their objections
Feelings are at war

Images are bouncing
Shadows in the mind
Search for understanding
Even so, flying blind

If I could only have a hint
At what the mind bestows
To capture just a glint
Feelings to expose

Odd how thoughts arise
Projections of a soul
See your smiling eyes
Losing all control

New images are forming
With no more explanation
I find my heart is warming
In feelings of elation

Only pray I’m not alone
Perhaps in your mind too,
Thoughts before unknown
Raise feelings that are new

Heart be true this day
Guide me now to know
Show me the right way
As these feelings grow
