A Hero's Heart

  BACK

A hero’s heart can go unknown,
Hidden on hope’s own tender throne.
But you cannot hide the thunderous cry,
Of a hero’s heart when others vie

It’s not the heart of strength or speed.
It’s not the heart that lacks all greed.
Instead the heart is one of care,
Only compassion can take it there.

The love inside is not controlled,
Only tamed for fear unknown.
But tears do come, for loneliness,
Is riddled deep within the chest.

But fear is not the king of all,
For love has beaten Satan’s call.
And when those gentle feelings come,
No thing on earth would not succumb.

For passion can control our thoughts,
And belief is only passion wrought.
When love is all that passion shows,
Who are we, but small heroes?
